What is "Web 2.0"?

MORE
PROJECT: "MORE" design comps
AGENCY: Periscope
AD: Carmen Roselles, Rob Peichel, Kent Bishop
Sometimes, "More is More," which was exactly the case with this project. Periscope had a new pitch for their client and wanted us to help them get More out of it. Without a comp or skinny-line to use as a go-by, we were largely left to our own devices. Taking the project through our innovative process centered around SimpleCG, we quickly turned out their 3 key concepts: More Savings, More Green, and More Choice. As is often the case, we tried to take our client's request and give them a little More than they asked for.

In terms of attractiveness, it works. It further describe the information at a glance. It also stimulates buzz as in a guerilla approach. But finally you're going to buy or not is the product, not the advertisement. Will you let go the package at the end? Keep this in your mind, find your own answer for its application.

climate changing
We can feel the current climate is making a big changing compared to the past.Temperature? Humidity? And so on...both are very important to all the earthman for living.
For example, when there is a high temperature, people will open the air-conditioner and the others which can make them feel more comfortable. What I mean is... they must take some actions opposite to these changing. However, most of them NEVER consider why the problem stays here. It is really pity to see the next generation suffer from OUR disastrous effect.
Remember, love our planet, and plan a good future to OUR generation!!
Don’t do more ATTACKS to the Earth again and again.

Garbage Not Garbage Presentation
It's encouraging to see how people in the Community Museum Project have turned the word "Museum" into an everyday experience. While we are surprised by he way ordinary objects and settings are rediscovered and reinvented through reintrepretations and representations, it's time to rethink our position and adjust our ways of thinking in our day to day learning and teaching of design culture. You may be aware that the "Community" has three connotations: subject matter, settings and creative public interface.
Visit the Community Museum Project Website for more.

Donald Norman on co-creation as a “transmedia” design challenge
There is another side of this new transmedia: co-development, co-creation, co-ownership. In this new world, we all produce, we all share, we all enjoy. Teacher and student learn together achieving new understanding. Reader and writer create together. Game player and game developer work together. This is the age of creativity, where everyone can participate. Everyone can be a designer. Everyone can be involved ...
... True creativity requires some thought, some work, some effort. It has to be reflective, even if only after the fact. Mindless creativity has its place, but the real challenge before us is to unleash the substantive creativity inside most people ..."
This article is very insightful and I hope you can read the full story (Don't be scared off by the length) to give you an idea of what a designer should do. Feel free to post your comments here.
The Impact on Global Climate Change
To highlight the effects of climate change, Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo made a installation of 1,000 ice sculptures of sitting men on the steps of Berlin’s concert hall. The sculptures began melting in 30 minutes.
The Berlin installation was sponsored by the WWF. The action coincided with the release of a major report on Arctic warming by WWF entitled Artic Feedbacks: The Impact on Global Climate Change, highlighting that the consequences of the rapid retreat of ice will not only affect the Artic region but the planet as a whole.
Since 2005, Azevedo has been setting up her Melting Men in various countries around the world. Although originally intended as a critic of the role of monuments in cities, environmentalists around the world are adopting her work as climate change art.
